The Thomas Wright Miller was my Grandmother's Uncle (He and his wife raised my grandmother Nettie Grant (Miller). I have quite a few details of these people's ancestors ( a few generations anyway!), bot don't know anything about the people listed or their descendents. Perhaps you are one! Anyway, enjoy, and if you know anything about these people or how I could find out more about them please let me know. Perhaps one of them has more details about our mutual ancestors. Here it is: This Indenture made this third day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand nine-hundred and thirty five. Between: Alice Maude Miller, of the City of Bath in the State of Maine, one of the United States of America, widow of the late William Miller; in her own right; and as duly appointed guardian of Lorna S. Miller and Evangeline M. Miller minor children of the said Alice Maude Miller and the late William Miller her husband; Thomas W. Miller, Jr., of the City of Detroit in the State of Michigan, truckman; and Sarah D. Miller, his wife, of the same place, in token of her bar of dower rights; Paul Miller, at present residing in the State of Georgia, instructor, and Olga Miller, his wife, of the same place, in token of her bar of dower rights; Hulda V. French, of the City of Riverside in the State of Rhode Island, married woman, in her own right; and Carl French, her husband, of the same place; Olive Desjardines, of the City of Norwood in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, married woman, in her own right; and Louis Desjardines, her husband, of the same place; Anna A. Ridyard, of the City of Worcester in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, married woman, in her own right; and Horace Ridyard, her husband of the same place; Justus H. Miller, of the City of Bath in the State of Maine, mason contractor, Caroline Miller, his wife, of the same place in token of her bar of dower rights; Maude M. Hagerty, of the City of Ashland in the State of Maine, married woman, in her own right; and Albert L. Hagerty, her husband, of the same place; Nathan C. Miller, of the City of Bath in the State of Maine, mason-contractor, Florence Miller, his wife, of the same place, in token of her bar of dower rights; Bertha C. Miller, of the City of Norwood in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, book-keeper, in her own right; Evangeline M. Miller, of the City of Riverside in the State of Rhode Island, a salesgirl, in her own right; Lorna S. Miller, of the City of Bath in the State of Maine, a housemaid, in her own right; all in the United States of America; hereinafter called the Grantors of the first part; and Nettie B. Grant, of the Town of Saint Andrews in the County of Charlotte and Province of New Brunswick, book-keeper, hereinafter called the Grantee, of the other part; Whereas, the late Thomas W. Miller, was the owner of the hereinafter mentioned and described property, lands and premises, under and by virtue of a deed from Edward J. Fitzgerald, et al, dated 14th February A.D. 1905. And Whereas, the said Thomas W. Miller, died testate, and by his will bequeathed the said hereinafter described lands, etc., to his only son, the late William Miller. And Whereas, the said late William Miller died testate, and by his said will bequeathed the said hereinafter mentioned lands, etc., to his executor and son Nathan C. Miller, aforesaid, to be sold, and the proceeds distributed among his heirs according to the terms of his will And Whereas, the said late William Miller died, leaving as his heirs and next of kin, his widow, the said Alice Maude Miller, and eleven children, viz; the aforesaid grantors, of whom two are at present minors, and of whom their said mother Alice Maude Miller has been appointed guardian by the proper Court in the State of Maine; And Whereas, the said children, Evangeline M. Miller and the said Lorna S. Miller, have agreed and do hereby agree as witnessed by their signatures, to make, give and execute such further deeds of confirmation and assurances as shall be deemed necessary to perfect the title to the said hereinafter described lands, upon their, and each of them, attaining legal age. Witnesseth that the Grantors, for and in consideration of the sum of one ($1.00) dollar, to them and each of them, paid by the Grantee, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and for other valuable considerations received, have remised, released, sold, transfer and conveyed and forever quitclaimed, and by these presents do remise, release, sell, transfer and convey and forever quitclaim unto the Grantee, her heirs and assigns, all and singular, that certain lot, piece or parcel of land and premises, situate, lying and being in the Town Plot of the Town of Saint Andrews in the County of Charlotte and Province of New Brunswick, Dominion of Canada, more particularly bounded and described as follows; Being that certain Lot known and described as Lot No.(7) seven in Block Letter F., in Morris Division of the said Town Plat. Fronting on Montague Street on the said Town Plat. Fronting on Montague Street on the south-westerly side thereof, and having a frontage on the same of eighty (80) feet, more or less, and extending back a distance of one hundred and sixty (160') feet, towards Queen Street and at right angles to said Montague Street, and preserving the same width and length throughout; Being a rectangular parcel of land, and being the same land as was conveyed as aforesaid from one Fitzgerald in Book No. 63 at pages 317 et seq, as No.9367. together with all privileges and appurtenances belonging thereto and all interest therein of the said Grantors. To Have and To Hold the same unto the said Grantee, her heirs and assigns, to the use of the said Grantee, her heirs executors, administrators and assigns, forever.
