HARMONY GRANGE Harmony Grange was organized in 1875 with 33 charter members and for a time held meetings in what was known as Riverside Hall, but for several years meetings have been held in the I. O. O. F. Hall. The order is now in a very flourishing condition. It owns a library of 184 books, a fine lot and stable and has recently commenced the work of building a hall. The masters have been as follows: Frank T. Pennell, Rev. N. R. Turner, Moses Page, Chas. A. Davis, Lewis S. Reed, Wilbur W. Jacobs, Wm. McLaughlin, R. H. Reed, Sherburn Leighton (for 5 years), John S. Hight, Wm. Brown, M. J. Merrill, W. S. Bemis, Wm. G. Bailey, A. D. Gray, Alton Chadbourne, Mrs. Sophia Marble, Geo. Rhoades, Edward Bailey, James Armstrong, Mrs. S. A. Haynes has been lecturer of the grange for twelve years and has missed but two meetings for fourteen years.
