GRANGE HISTORY.
Wesserunsett Grange, No. 346, was instituted June 23, 1898,
with 23 charter members. The charter officers were Frank C.
Folsom, W. M.; A. E. Currier, Overseer; H. C. Blackwell, Lec-
turer; Nettie Moody, Secretary. Later masters have been: L.
L. Smith (5 years), John Amazeen, Forest Herrin, Lindley Par-
sons, Frank Bean, Herbert C. Blackwell. The present secre-
tary is Fred McClure.
At present the grange meets in the town hall, which it has
greatly improved in return for the use of the building, at a
cost of about $800-- a sum which was raised by the order in
about a year. The hall seats 200 and has a dining hall
above with a seating capacity of 60. The order is pros-
perous, having about 85 members at present.
