Centenarians. Among the persons whose decease occurred in 1916, six men and six 
women had exceeded the age of 100 years. Their names, together with a few facts 
relating to their life history are as follows:

Eliza Wentworth Merrill of Gray, widow of Enoch Merrill, died February 20, 1916, 
aged 105 years, 2 months, 20 days.  She was born in Bridgton, December 31, 1810, 
daughter of William Wentworth and Betsey Merrill, both born in Buxton. Cause of 
death, fall, causing fracture of femur.
