THE MAINE CONFERENCE in 1883, meets at Lewiston, It has 126 chnrches, valued at $584,500; 70 parsonages valued at $85,800; 132 ministers; a membership of 11,135; probationers, 1,594. STATISTICS, 1882. THE EAST MAINE CONFERENCE has 110 churches, valued at S318,050; 85 parsonages, valued at S62,685; 112 ministers; 9,119 members; 2,388 probationers; Sunday-school scholars, 10,421.
