Norris Company C 11th Regiment of Maine Volunteers, who was enrolled on the Nineteenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and sixty two to serve three years during the war, is hereby discharged from the service of the United States, this twelfth day of June 1865, at near Richmond Va. by reason of being mustere out G. O. 94. W. Dept. A. G. O. C. S (No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist*) Said William Newcomb was born in E. Machias in the State of Maine is 23 years of age 5 feet 8 inches high, Light complexion, Black eyes, Dark hair, and by occupation when enrolled a Caulker.
