Crocker a Sergeant of Battery "G" of the second Regiment Artillery, who was enlisted on the 13th day of October one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight to serve 3 years is hereby honorably discharged from the Army of the United States, by reason on G. O. 4o, May 10, 1895 A. G. O. The Said Melville W. Crocker was born in Machias in the State of Maine, and when enlisted was 25 5/12 years of age 5 feet, 9 1/2 inches high, fair complexion, blue eyes, brown hair, and by occupation a soldier.
