Chase's Company (K) Ninth Regiment of Maine Volunteers, who was enrolled on the sixteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty-one, to serve three years, is hereby discharged from the service of the United States this twenty-seventh day of March 1863, at Hilton Head, S. C. by reason of _________. (No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.*) Said Nathan W. Reynolds was born in Dennysville in the State of Maine is 37 years of age five feet eight inches high, Dark complexion, Grey eyes, Brown hair, and by occupation when enrolled a Millman.
