>From the Tuesday Jan. 11, 1881 Machias Union newspaper from Machias, Washington County, Maine. Miss Sarah A. Brophy, who died at Castine recently, had taught several terms of school in this County. Mrs Trickey who died at Jonesboro recently, was daughter of the late Asa Farnsworth and the grand daughter of Hannah Weston. Mrs. Trickey's first husband was Nathan Libby. Her second husband was Samuel Trickey who survives her. The Argus says, "Walter H. Dinsmore M.D., of Amherst, N.H., was united in marriage Jan 4 to Miss Sue Boothby, daughter of Arthur Boothby, Esq., of Buxton. Hevis a nephew of Hon. William J. Cortbell, of Gorham, and is a graduate of the Maine Medical School in the class of 1880." Walter is son of D.W. Dinsmore, Esq, of Harrington. Lewiston Journal says: Hon. John Plummer of Addison, Maine, who died recently, was long one of the most prominent citizens of the town and vicinity, where he had long resided. He was 83 years old and was a "Dartmoor prisoner." Mr. E.G. Buxton who died quite suddenly at Eastport last week, of lung fever, was at one time keeper of the old Mabee House.
