In Detroit, Dec 22, Helen Lincoln, youngest daughter of the late Bela Lincoln, Esq. of Dennysville, and Dr Geo B Watkins of Detroit. DIED In Whitneyville, Dec 30, Mr Andrew M Bridgham, aged eighty two tears 11 months 25 days. In Milbridge, Dec 28, Thomas E Strout Esq. In Columbia Falls, Dec 31, Fannie, wife of Benjamin Allen, aged about 28 years. In Bar Harbor, Dec 25, Mary E, wife of Eli L Bunker, aged 23 years. In Eastport, Dec 19, Mrs Joseph Anderson, aged 83 years. The following deaths were scattered through out the paper, and again, these are written just as they appeared in the paper; Mr Alvin F. Smith, Milltown, died morning of Dec 26, after a short sickness, aged 52 years. Mr William Lovering, of Baileyville, recently buried his only surviving child. His whole family of six children have died within a few years. It is a sad case. Alexander Hutchinson, formerly of St. Stephen, N.B., was found dead in the road near Oakland, Cal, Nov 12. Appearances indicated that he fell off the cart and the wheels passed over him. Dr Alpheus F Page, a prominent citizen of Bucksport, died Dec 28 from hip disease: his age was 55 years. Flags in Bucksport were flying at half mast Tuesday out of respect to the deceased. Mrs Helen R, widow of the late Hon Timothy Boutelle, died at Waterville Dec 27, aged 92 years. The deceased was the daughter of Judge Roger of Exter, H N, was married and came to Waterville in 1810. Thomas E Strout, Esq, our village lawyer, died Tuesday of this week at midnight. He had been a great sufferer for a long time. Mrs Ruth Stackpole, widow of the late John Stackpole, aged 88 years old and nine months, died at her home in Thomaston, Dec 22d. On Christmas morning Ella M, wife of H J Davis, suddenly passed away. She was taken very sick on Thursday night preceding, and sank in sort of a stupor from which she never recovered. Mrs Davis was the oldest daughter of Lorenzo D and Susan E Allen, Mr Davis, in the loss of his wife, and Mr and Mrs Allen, in the loss of thier daughter, have the sympathy of the whole neighborhood. On the night of the 23d the angel of death made his third visit to the house of Capt Wm Allen within the past year. This time he summoned her who had shared his griefs and joys for many years. Mrs Allen had been sick some time. Capt Allen is away at present. The angel of death on his two previous visits called an infant and the oldest daughter, aged about 18. End of post.
