							Pierce Plot


This burial ground is alittle more tricky.  It is a small family ground
in the woods and hard to find.  It is referred to as "Pierce Plot" in town
records.  Interment.net put it up as "Pierce Burial Plot".  From Limerick Center
go Northeast on Rte. 11.  Bear right heading Eastbound on Central Ave.; go about
.9 miles.  Turn right onto Dole Ridge Rd. heading Southeast and go abt. 2 miles.
Take a left onto Moon Circle, will come to a sharp bend towards the left. 
Cemetery is on the right at the elbow of that bend behind a house in the woods.
I visited this cemetery on Oct. 20, 2003.  These records come from tombstones
as well as records furnished by the Limerick Historical Society 
(a copy is in my possession, given to me by the Director). 
The condition of this cemetery is quite poor.  Some stones are down,
area is grown over and hard to find.  Buried here is my 1st cousin, 4 times removed 
(Walter H. Pierce) and others.  Many stones are difficult to read.  I count 12 stones;
Society records state 7 field stone markers w/ no inscriptions.
