Mrs. Anna E. Baldwin 
Died: Wednesday, January 14, 1963, at a Traverse City hospital, she entered 
two years ago.
Aged: 94 years
Residence: Barton City
Born: November 3, 1858; Belding, Michigan to Steven and Emily Wilbur
Residence: Belding, Michigan November 3, 1858 to July 10, 1879
Married: Edwin Baldwin, July 10, 1879
Her husband, Edwin Baldwin, died March 28, 1918.  
“They came to Curran and homesteaded land where she lived until 1926 when she 
moved to Barton City. “ 
Religion: Member of the First Baptist Church of Grand Rapids
Surviving are four sons and one daughter, Leonard of Cedar Springs, Clarence 
of Barton City; Vernon of Grand Rapids; Burt of Newberry, and Mrs. Alva 
Cartright of Grand Ledge.  There are 23 grandchildren and 38 great 
grandchildren.  
Funeral services: 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, from the Smith Funeral 
Home.  
Officiating: Rev. Clair Gleason
Burial: Lakeside Cemetery, Lincoln (Twin Lakes Cemetery, Custin Twp., Lincoln, 
Alcona Co., MI)
    


Additional Comments:
This person is my 2nd great grandmother.  Several of her children died before 
her.  Her mother's maiden name was Emeline Harriet GUERNSEY. Her maiden name 
was Anna Emily WILBUR.
