Born: September 28, 1919 to Walter and Mary (Smith) Hoppe in Hitchin, 
England.  
Married: William LaForge, November 4, 1945 
Hobbies: antiques and gardening.  
Surviving daughter: Susan (Richard) Hynek of Black River
Surviving son, Robert E. LaForge of Harrisville
Surviving three sisters, Cassie Holmes, Blanche Boggust and Betty Larson all 
of England 
Also surviving: Eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her husband, William on June 26, 1978.  
Funeral service: Friday, June 9 (2006) at Gillies Funeral Home in Harrisville
The Rev. Lawrence Boks officiated.  
Cremation arrangements have been made.
