entering the U.S. Navy in 1943.”  
“After returning from World War II, he worked as a plumber out of the Plumbers 
Union Local 98 in Detroit, Mich.”
Surviving sister: Bertha (Ernie) Murphy of Lucerne, Calif.
Surviving half-brother: Louis (Loraine) Arnold of Fairview, Mich.
Surviving three step-grandchildren: Ava (Perry) Budreau of Lincoln, Brad 
DeJarlais of Ann Arbor, Mich. and Denise (Wayne) Lee of Oscoda, Mich.
Surviving five step-great-grandchildren
Surviving daughter-in-law: Jean DeJarlais of Harrisville
Surviving two sisters-in-law: Cora DeJarlais of Curran and Dorothy LaRouch of 
Alpena, Mich.
Also surviving: nieces and nephews
Surviving dear friends: Jack and Alice Wahlers of Curran.  
Deceased wife: Julia, who died in 1978  
Funeral services were held November 8 at the Orr Funeral Home in Mio, Mich.  
Officiating: Pastor David Dee 
Burial: Curran Cemetery
Memorials: Hospice of Northeastern Michigan
