The first settler in this vicinity was Benjamin PLUMMER, whose second son, Andrew, was the first white child bom in Saugatuck. 
Three of their othor children died in the spring of 1853 of cholera. This cemetery is one mile west and a little north of US highway 31 on Section 7. 
It is quite well kept. There are many unmarked graves. 
Copying was done in the summer of 1940 by Elizabeth B. Davis and finished in Sept. 1941 by Cornelia Peck & Ruth Robbins Monteith, 
who typed & checked the record. Lots separated by double spacing.
