Passed away Tuesday morning, April 10, 1984 at the Allegan General Hospital.  
Mr. Berzley was born in Allegan on June 23, 1911, the son of Frank and Leona 
(Whitacre) Berzley.  He worked as an electrician for the City of Allegan and 
for the Consumers Power Company, having retired in 1969.  He was a veteran of 
W.W.II, having served with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific.  On March 22, 
1943 in Martinez, California he was united in marriage to Eunice Covault.  
Besides his wife, he is survived by his stepchildren, Mrs. Martin (Irene) 
Fishell of Berrien Springs, Michigan, Irwin Bolenbaugh of Holland, Ival (Doug) 
Bolenbaugh of Allegan, Mrs. Henry (Iola) Wentzel of Allegan; 20 step-
grandchildren; 9 step-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Harold of Winnsboro 
South Carolina,; several nieces and nephews.  He was preceeded in death by 1 
stepson, Ivan Bolenbaugh, and 2 brothers, Alfred and Donald.  Friends may meet 
with the family from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Allegan Chapel of the Gorden 
Funeral Residence, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with 
Pastor Bob Siegler officiating.  Interment in Oakwood Cemetary. For those who 
wish, memorials may be made to the Heart or Cancer Fund.
