Charles A. Brown
Born: March 23rd, 1857; Gun Plains township “in the home in which his father, 
James Brown, a man of 80 years of age, still lives”
Married: Gertrude P. Wise; Sept. 3rd, 1881
Died: Dec 6th (1912) after a short illness 
Funeral: From his home at 2 o’clock, Monday, Dec 9th (1912)
Officiating: Rev. J. Fletcher 
Buried: Hillside cemetery
Survivors: “His wife and two daughters, Miss Evah and Mrs E.R. Jackson 
together with his aged father and one brother” (the next line is unreadable).
Residence: Gun Plains township, his entire life
