Died: late Sunday evening, August 2, 1931
Son of: James and Eliza Brown, pioneer residents of Gun Plains Township.  
Born: April 7, 1860 in the home where his father lived for over 60 years
Deceased brother: Charles preceded him in death, dying in 1912
Deceased younger son: Roy, who died in July 1913
Married: Jane Norman in 1878.  She survives him.
Surviving son: Fay
Surviving grand-daughter: Mrs. Norman Sherburne
Surviving great grandson: Don Sherburne
Funeral services: Tuesday (4 Aug 1931) at 2:30 P.M. at the Murray Funeral Home
Officiated by: Rev. E. L. Sutclifffe  


Additional Comments:
His mother’s maiden name was Eliza HONEYSETTE.  His grand-daughter, Mrs. 
Norman Sherburne’s maiden name was Beatrice A. BROWN.
