Six children with first husband: four of whom survive her. “They are Mrs. Mary Eastman, So. Haven: Mrs. E. F. Holden, Northville: Mrs. Edgar Wood and Henry Norman, both of this place.” Second Husband: Wm. Herbert survives her. Two children, both survive her, with second husband: Miss May and Elbert E. Herbert of this place. Surviving two step-sons: Wm. Herbert, Jr., San Antonio, Texas and Fred H. Herbert of Shelbyville Surviving brother: Geo. H. Farbrother of Gunplain Surviving sister: Miss Emma Farbrother of Kalamazoo Surviving grandchildren: Four Burial: Hillside cemetery. Additional Comments: Her maiden name was Clara Ann BROWN. She was the daughter of Celia Ann BROWN, who married Edmund FARBROTHER. I am not sure if Edmund was her father or not but she is listed as his daughter in the census and shown there with his last name. The siblings listed George Henry FARBROTHER and (Mary) Emma FARBROTHER (who later married Albert OLIVER) were the children of Edmund FARBROTHER and Celia Ann BROWN. Another sister Celia Elizabeth FARBROTHER died Feb 1881. Clara Ann’s first husband was James NORMAN.
