Additional Comments:
This was my great-grandfather.  His daughter Mary's last name was really 
spelled AXTELL.  Oscar was the son of Mindard D. SHEARS (the first name has 
various spellings) and Marinda Elizabeth HAMMOND (also spelled HAMMON).
