Died: at home in Gun plains on Wednesday morning last (13 Oct 1897)
Funeral: Friday at one p.m., from the home (15 Oct 1897)
Time at Current Residence: 37 years.  
Surviving Father: Geo. Wood (Lansing)
Surviving Sons: Fred Brown (Kalamazoo), George Brown (Martin) and David and 
Ulric Brown who are living on the farm where their mother died.  
Maiden Name: Jane Julia Wood
Born: November 1, 1837, at Court Reed farm, parish of Great Chart, Kent 
county, England.  
Immigration: America June 1844,with her parents 
Residence: Monroe County, NY - 8 Years
Residence: Michigan
Married: Henry Brown January 1, 1859
"The following year they moved on the farm where they passed the remainder of 
their lives."
Death of Mr. Brown: March, 1895

Additional Comments:
Her mother was Elizabeth. Elizabeth is buried next Jane and Henry BROWN at 
Hillside Cemetery. Fred's name has been spelled as Alfred or Fredrick on 
different sources.
