Elizabeth Wraight, beloved wife of George H. Wood
Born: Sept. 25, 1811, Kent Co., England
Died: Sept. 6, 1886, at her residence near Pine Creek
“In 1840 Mrs. Wood in company with her husband left the land of her nativity 
and came to America.  They settled first in the state of New York, and seven 
years afterward came to Michigan.” 

Additional Comments:
George and Elizabeth Wood’s daughter’s maiden name was Jane Julia WOOD.  I do 
not know if they had any other children.  Jane married Henry BROWN.  Elizabeth 
Wood is buried next to Henry and Jane BROWN at Hillside Cemetery, Gun Plain 
Twp., (Plainwell), Allegan Co., MI
