This is the tombstone for Homer Mankin at his burial site in Vicksburg, 
Mississippi under a 
stone that has his named spelled incorrectly as "Homer Mankus" in section L, no. 6128.  The other picture is of his stone in Hopkins, Michigan, but he 
was interred in Mississippi where he died on July 12, 1864.  It is in the 
Vicksburg National Military Park Cemetery there.  His parents were Silas W. 
Mankin and Rachel Warrenton Mankin, both of whom are buried in Maplewood 
Cemetery, Hopkins, Michigan.
