 On a trip to MI in the summer of 1997, I found Sibble Rose Dixon under a
trumpet vine with her brother, Stephen after searching for 2 + 1/2 hrs in 100
degree humid weather at McDowell Cemetery, an old country graveyard.  The next
door neighbor helped me cut the bush down + repair Stephen's broken stone.

The graves were in the front SE corner, row 3 near the road.  The McDowell
Cemetery is located @

Longitude:86.23694


Additional Comments:
Sibble (REED) ROSE DIXON, daughter of Moses REED and Phebe CHAMBERLAIN,  bn 1825
probably in Oneida or Cayuga County New York.Siblings were Mary (1819), Abram
(1822), Stephen (1831), Marshall (1833), Simon (1835) & Austin (1838).

She married:
1. William FREELAND in NY 
   - 1 child Florence (1831)
2. Mason F. ROSE 23 Oct 1859 Casco, Allegan Co, MI
   - 1 child Simon Mason ROSE (1862)
3. James A. DIXON 15 Sep 1867 Casco, Allegan Co, MI

Sibble is buried next to her younger brother, Stephen REED, a Civil War veteran.
