Munroe, Joshua - W. side of Munroe Monument-27 years a teacher in MA, MD, & 
VA. A firm union man. In 1871 made tour of Europe. Born in Spencer, Mass., 
Mar. 15, 1818, died in Plainwell, Sept. 19, 1882. "He lived and died in the 
same firm faith of the Great Redeemer".
