Burren BROWN was the son of James BROWN and Celia BOURNE. He was born in Shadoxhurst, Kent Co., England in 1833. He married Mary Ann HOYT (her maiden name has was been given to me by one of her descendants and I am still looking for "proof" of her maiden surname). Their children were Mary Eliza BROWN, (she never married) and James Burren BROWN I. They are all (Burren, Mary Ann, Mary Eliza and James Burren BROWN I) buried at Hillside Cemetery, Gun Plain Twp., Plainwell, Allegan Co., MI.
