His parents were residents of Michigan.

Additional Comments:
The mother's maiden name was Celia Ann BOURNE. Both of his parents were born 
in England.  Henry BROWN was born 27 Mar 1826 in Harrietsham, Kent Co., 
England.  He married Jane Julia WOOD January 1, 1859.  Their children were 
Alfred H., George H., David Edward (David married Edith Mary FENNER)and 
Ulric "Ben" Willis BROWN.  Henry and his wife and mother-in-law (Elizabeth) 
are buried in section U8 at Hillside Cemetery, Gunplain Twp., (Plainwell), 
Allegan Co., MI.
