James Hadd, aged 67, died Monday at his home in Alpena county, a mile past
LaVere's corners, after a brief illness.  Hadd was born in Michigan having
resided near Hubbard Lake previous to his occupancy five years ago of the farm
where his death occurred.  Hadd is survived by a widow and three children, Miss
Bertha Hadd of Bay City, Miss Sarah Hadd of Rogers and one son, George, at home.
 No funeral arrangements have yet been made.
