Dougall was born in Alpena on March 31, 1923 to the late Murdock and Winifred 
(Kimball) MacKenzie. He served in the United States Army during WWII and 
married Precellia (Pat) Burns on July 26, 1947 at St. Michael Church in 
Pontiac, Michigan. Doug was employed at General Motors in Pontiac for 34 years 
retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. 



Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Precellia; 3 children, M. Denise (Mike) 
McClellan, Dougall T. MacKenzie, Joseph (Roslyn) MacKenzie; 5 grandchildren, 
Michelle “Mickie” (Joe) Teel, Benjamin McClellan, Sean MacKenzie, Olivia 
MacKenzie, Ian MacKenzie; 3 great grandchildren, Paige Teel, Joshua Teel and 
Kailey Teel.



Mr. MacKenzie was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Charles, Donald and Kenneth.



Cremation arrangements have been handled by the Bannan Funeral Home.



Inurnment: Holy Cross Cemetery
