The Smorch family were formerly well know residents of Posen, where Mr. And Mrs. Andrew Smorch, the parents, owned a threshing machine and saw mill. They moved to Detroit four years ago that the father might receive medical treatment there. The parents still reside in Detroit. There are also five brothers and three sisters. John Smorch of Alpena 713 River street, engineer at the ______ Mill, Andrew also of Alpena, Mrs. Hillary Chesney, Mrs. Casimer Centala, Steven, Albert and Mary of Detroit, and Vincent, whose location is not known. The dead young man had been a streetcar conductor the last two years. He was a favorite son and his death came as a severe blow. Andrew Klimaszewski of 323 Long Lake avenue, who moved to Alpena from Dedtroit a month ago, is a cousin of the young man. John and Andrew Smorch left on Thursday for Detroit to attend the funeral. dz
