Berry Hospital who cared for the elderly until her 82nd birthday, died Wednesday, May 1, 1991, at William Beaumont Hospital, Troy. She was born on Jan. 26, 1904 in Frederick. --- She was a Mount Clemens resident for 40 years. --- Mrs. Hill is survived by her sons, Robert of Harrison Township, Richard of Mount Clemens and Lawrence of Honor; daughters, Nancy Kalb of Mount Clemens, Helen Garner of Waco, Texas, Alberta Shue of Harrison Township, Gertrude Saffron of Benzonia and Florence Roberts of Fife Lake; 35 grandchildren and 40 greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Wesley in 1948, a son, Perry Edward, daughter Alice Pelto, and brothers, Dewitt and Perry Watson. --- Visitation, 5- 9 p.m. today at the Paullin Funeral Home, 205 State Street ??????????? p.m. Friday at the funeral home; burial, in Mancelona; memorials, to First Methodist Church on Cass Avenue in Mount Clemens. ---------------------------------------------------- TRAVERSE CITY RECORD EAGLE---2 May 1991--Page 8 Agnes L. Hill---Died May 1, 1991---Mount Clemens Agnes L. Hill, 87, a former Mancelona resident from Mount Clemens, died, Wednesday at William Beaumont Hospital in Troy. A resident of Mancelona until her move to Mount Clemens in 1951, she had worked as a nurse's aid in private homes. She was raised in the Lansing and Flint areas. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, sewing and quilting. Born in Frederic on Jan. 26, 1904, she was the daughter of Frank and Gertrude (Perry) Watson. On Sept. 6, 1924, she married Albert W. Hill, who died in 1948. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Pelto, in 1972; two brothers, Perry Watson in 1950, and Dewitt Watson in 1971; two grandsons and two granddaughters. Surviving are five daughters, Alberta Shue and Nancy Kalb, both of Mount Clemens, Gertrude Saffron of Benzonia, Mrs. Larry ( Florence) Roberts of Fife Lake and Mrs. Joe (Helen) Garner of Waco, Texas; three sons, Richard and Robert Hill, both of Mount Clemens, and Lawrence Hill of Honor; 33 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Paullin Funeral Home in Mancelona. The Rev. Gary Coates will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Mancelona. Friends may visit until 9 tonight and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.
