MABEL C. SEPT. 1, 1917 SEPT 13, 1920 JAN. 19, 2008 Between their names and dates is a set of wedding rings, a ribbon running through them reads: Sept 7, 1940. 67 Years The stone is gray granite. On the left of BROWNE is a deer standing in front of spruce trees, on the right, a Hummingbird and flower. Additional Comments: Charles R. Browne, known as Charlie, was born in Maple Ridge, Clayton Township, Arenac County Michigan to Albert and Grace M. (Harrison) Browne. He was a brother to Phillis, Albert, Morrell, Donna and Barbara Jean. Charlie married Mabel C. Daniels Sept. 7, 1940 in Prescott, Arenac County, MI. He and Mabel were the parents of four children. In September 2007 they celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary.
