Shepard. January 26, 1914 to January 1, 1988. He and his family had lived in the Sterling area for quite some time. Forrest was notorious for those large pumpkins that he grew on his homestead just opposite the hill where he now lays at rest. He is the son of Melvin and Lena (Daniels) Shepard. He is the father to Connie, Margo, and Emily Shepard. He was married to/divorced of Grace Jo Ann Tremain, who also brought Tom Tremain and Gracie Hartman to the family. He is buried next to his father and mother, and also a sister who died in her early teenage years.
