L'Anse Sentinel March 11, 1911
John Boyer. 

John Boyer died at his home west of Baraga Wednesday night of cancer. 

John was fifty-five years of age and was born in Canada. He has been confined to 
his bed for a number of months. He leaves a wife to mourn his demise. 

Funeral services will be held from the St. Anne's church this morning, and 
internment will be in the local cemetery.
