Obituary. 

After a lingering and painful illness of about three months Mr. John Christman 
expired at between eleven and twelve o'clock Thursday evening, of pulmonary 
consumption, surrounded by his grief stricken family. 

Mr. Christman was nearly 35 years of age, and had resided in this place about 
nine years. He was married ten years ago, and leaves a widow and two children, 
besides a widowed mother and five sisters grown up. 

The funeral services will be conducted from St. Joseph's church, at 9:30 
Monday morning, the procession forming at the house at 9 o'clock. 

The deceased was a faithful member of the Catholic Knights of America, in 
which order he held a beneficiary certificate for $2,000.
