Corbitt, the blacksmith, died very suddenly Friday evening last. He had not been feeling well for several days, and on Friday afternoon he went into Mr. Schmeling's harness shop and requested the privilege of lying down for awhile which was granted. Two or three hours afterwards when Mr. Schmeling went to call him he found him dead. Mr. M. Corbitt, a brother of the deceased, who is employed as a carpenter by the Quincy Mining company, was telegraphed for, and came down Saturday, accompanied by his uncle, R.U. Morrison and Undertaker Steward with a fine casket. Sunday morning the remains were taken to Kincardine, Ont., for interment [sic]. Mr. Corbett was a single man about 32 years of age, and was born in Bruce county, Ontario.
