The L'Anse Sentinel August 1, 1891
Miss Maggie Fortin, a niece of Joseph Lambert, died yesterday of typhoid fever 
aged seventeen years. She had been living at Baraga for several weeks and it 
is supposed she contracted the disease while there. Funeral services will be 
held at the Catholic church to-morrow.
