Rev. Mr. Foster, father of Mrs. A. L. Ely, died last week after a short illness. The

funeral services were held Saturday at the M.E. church, Rev. F.O. Jones officiating.

Mr. Foster had been in this part of the country but a couple of months, and had but

recently been appointed to the Baraga charge of the M.E. church.
