L'Anse Sentinel, February 19, 1947
Dennis Ross 72 well known Baraga resident died early this morning at his home in 
Baraga following a lengthy illness. Mr. Ross suffered a paralytic stroke about 
four years ago and a short time later another stroke paralyzed his leg and side. 
Since that time, he has been confined to his home.

Mr. Ross was born in Quebec, Canada May 23, 1876 and came to Baraga at the age 
of 16. On May 17, 1903, he married Miss Mary Cadeau.

In addition to the widow, four sons and three daughters survive, Bert of 
Detroit, Tom, Milton, and Dennis of Baraga, Mrs. Kenneth Wheeler of Pontiac, 
Mrs. Carlos Seratti of Baraga, Mrs. Roy McIntyre of L'Anse.
