He was sixty two years of age and was ill the past three weeks. Mr. Rowe was a resident of Keweenaw Bay and had been employed by the Mass Minerals company in their stamp mill as a copper washer. The last three years he has been a watchman at the plant. The deceased is survived by a widow and three daughters, Mrs Curtis of Kewanee, Wis., Mrs Harold Beech of DePere Wis., and Mrs Joseph Jensen of Chicago, Illinois and three sons, Arnold of Kenosha and Norhty and Thomas at home. Fraternally he was a member of the Dollar Bay Camp of Moderman Woodman. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon with the services at home, Rev. Feuell of Grace Medthodis church of Houghton officiating, interment being at Forest Hill cemetery, Houghton.
