IRA CURTIS) MARK GOLDEN WEDDING [found in scrapbook made by Climena Schaibly, now in possession of George Schaibly of Woodland, MI] LAKE ODESSA, Dec. 1 -- The golden wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Curtis was celebrated last Sunday at their home on Fifth avenue with open house from 2 to 6 p.m. They were hosts to 115 guests. Fall flowers decorated the rooms and a four tier wedding cake centered the tea table. The couple were married November 11, 1895 at Marshall. They have resided in this vicinity for the past 40 years, moving from their farm to the village a year ago. There are two children, Mrs. E. L. Peckins of Portland, Mrs. C. R. Palmer of Lake City, and two grandchildren, Mary Jane and Donald Leak of Woodbury. dz
