These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organizations. _____________________________________________________________________ FRANK MYERS & ELLA (DODDS) MYERS [The "Lake Odessa Wave-Times," Thurs., Feb. 28, 1935] Mr. and Mrs. Frank Myers celebrate 58th anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Frank Myers were given a happy surprise Sunday, when their children and some of their close friends celebrated with them their 58th wedding anniversary. They were real pioneers of this vicinity, where they have lived many years. Their younger days were spent in the neighborhood of the Tamarac church, three miles south west of this place. Mr. Myers has been a carpenter and mechanic and for many years operated the electric pumping station for Lowell and operated the village water works pumping station here for many years. They have two sons and two daughters, Hugh Myers of Hastings, Mrs. Marie Barry of Carlton Center and Mrs. Inez Gavit and Glenn Myers of Lake Odessa, 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Myers have been interested in local affairs since coming to Lake Odessa many years ago. They are prominent in the I.O.O.F. and Rebekah lodges, where they have many friends. Mr. Myers is in his 80th year and Mrs. Myers is in her 77th year. --------------------------------- dz
