About a week ago she slipped on a rug in her home and fell breaking her hip. This is considered to be the immediate cause of her death, instead of old age. She was born in Galesburg, Kalamazoo County, but had lived nearly the entire 93 years of her life in the vicinity in which she died. She is survived by eight children, John of Kalamo; Levi, Charlotte; Mrs. Alice Lepard, Robert, Ira, Michael and Earl of Lake Odessa, and Wilbur of Nashville. The funeral will be held at the Tamarack church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment at Lakeside cemetery.
