Nettie HERMENITT was born Oct. 15, 1866 in the Netherlands and departed
this life at her home in Hastings Dec. 26, 1927. She was married to Cornelius
CAPPON of Orangeville in the year 1890 and to this union two children were
born, her husband passing away in 1897. She was again united in marriage
to James A. FAAS in 1898. To this union were born four children, one dying
in infancy. She was a kind and loving mother and will be greatly missed
by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her husband and five children,
Jennie BEACH of Hastings, Cornelius CAPPON, Jr., of Delton, Martina HANDS
of Dansville, Nettie SMITH of Woodland and Elizabeth at home. She also
leaves eight grandchildren and six brothers. Funeral services were conducted
by Rev. Sharpe at the Presbyterian church in Hastings, interment in Prairieville
cemetery. We have lost our darling mother, She has bid us all adieu, She
has gone to live in Heaven, And her form is lost to view. Oh, that dear
one, how we loved her, Oh, how hard to give her up! But an angel came down
