Capital Ave., widow of Walter A. McNee, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon. She was taken suddenly ill at home and was taken to Leila Hospital, but was dead upon arrival there at 2:10 p.m. Mrs. McNee had been in ill health for two weeks prior to her death. She was born in Hastings on July 9, 1878, a daughter of Myron and Mary (Bacus) Maynard, and was married to Mr. McNee, a farmer, in Middleville on March 7, 1900. He died in Battle Creek on Jan. 24, 1936. Mrs. McNee is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Audrey) Piebenga of Grand Rapids; two sons, Keith McNee of Grand Rapids, and Russell McNee of 51 N Mason Ave., and 10 grandchildren.
