Portland Observer November 5, 1925
Hunting responsible for another death.

Viverne Thomas, 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claud Thomas, residing near Lake 
Odessa, died at Pennock hospital, Hastings, Monday afternoon, from the effects 
of a gunshot wound sustained Saturday as he was crawling through a fence, the 
gun being accidently discharged the load striking him just below the right hip.

Additional Comments:
Viverne was the son of Martha and Claud Thomas.
