DOD:  Jul 22, 1898 Jackson, Jackson County, MI

Jackson Daily Citizen, Saturday, July 23, 1898

House - At his home in the Brooks' block, Friday, July 22, Prof. A. E. House
of malarial fever.  Mr. House had been sick two weeks.  He was leader of the
Jackson City band and director of the E. Main Street Baptist church choir.
He was a member of the Knights of Pythias and Modern Woodmen, though not of
Jackson lodges, he having removed from Detroit a few years ago.  He leaves a
wife and two children.
