A. Wells, the immediate cause of his death being heart failure. The funeral services will be held at the Methodist church this afternoon at three o'clock. Rev. Alfred Way officiating, and the interment will be made in beautiful Lakeview cemetery. Mr. House was born in Onondaga county, New York, Nov. 17, 1822 (really 1827). In 1852 he was married to Miss Mary Larkin, who died April 11, 1903. To them were born two sons and three daughters. Both sons have passed away, Lorin, who died in New York and Alfred, who died in Nashville. The three daughters, Mrs. Clara Matteson of Marshall, Mrs. Perry Cazier and Mrs. D. A. Wells of Nashville, are still living. Mr. House and family moved to Michigan forty years ago, living at Marshall for about eighteen months, then coming to Nashville, there they have since resided.
