The ceremony was performed by Rev. Chas. Cliff of Hastings. The lawn was beautifully lighted with Chinese lanterns, the young people standing under an arch of flowers and myrtle while the words were said which pronounced them man and wife. There were a large company of friends present from Vermontville, Kalamo and Nashville, also Mr and Mrs Kinne of Chicago, Mr and Mrs Smith and Miss Jennie Reese of Battle Creek, Mr and Mrs Clarence Griffin of Hastings and Mr. and Mrs Bulling of Woodland. Ice cream and cake were served. The presents were numerous and elegant. The bride and groom have gone to Shepardsville to spend a week. They will reside in Nashville for the present. They have the good wishes and congratulations of their many friends
