Detroit Boy's Body found Beneath Ice, Bay City, Feb. 23-Police today had 
recovered the body of Lawrence Palmer Jr. 7, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence 
Palmer of Detroit, after eight hours of dragging operations in ice-covered 
Saginaw River.  The boy, a student at Whittier School here, had been missing 
since Monday from the home of is grand-mother, Mrs. William Hurst of Hotchkiss 
street, with whom he had been living.

This article was in my Grandmother, Bertha (nee Chase) Palmer's Bible.  It was 
her Grandson. It is copied from original news article but date year is not 
shown.
